Still, I promised and update, and an update you shall get! Just don't expect to be impressed with my progress or my adherence to the rules this week. I know I promised you all that I would give you a rundown of my broken rules (as a way of keeping myself adhering to them), but you don't want to read a novel about every soda I drank this week. Let's just say that this week was not good on the healthier living front, because we basically ate out every meal. Which means that I succumbed to the temptation of soda
Right now I feel like a little kid whose parents are telling them that they're not angry, they're just disappointed. Well, world...I'm disappointed in me too. Because this type of week will never get me to my goals. But I'm not giving up because of one bad week, and that's the important thing. Still...it would have been helpful if it wasn't the first week, ya know?
I mean, our hotel had the world's largest chocolate fountain. If that's not unfair, I don't know what is. I guess they don't call it "Sin City" for nothing.
On a happier note, even though I cheated so much last week, I only gained one pound overall, which I'm pretty happy about. I was afraid it was going to be much more. So here are my stats as of now:
Change since last week: +1
Change overall: +1

I'm spending the rest of the day trying to catch up on all of the work that I missed while I was away, but I'm also pretty excited because tonight Shaun and I are going to see Jersey Boys in Madison! I don't know if I've ever told you this about me, but I love musicals. Incidentally, my husband does not. But I convinced him to get us tickets to Jersey Boys by a) asking for them as my wedding gift and b) reminding him that all of the music will be Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons hits, which I think he'll actually like.
I'm so excited!! I've heard only good things about this show.
I hope you're all having a great week, and I promise I'll be posting vacation updates soon!

Jersey boys is one of my favorites!!!!
The largest chocolate fountain?? Please take me there!! Like you said..holidays are a time for overeating..so might as well go all the way with that! :-)
Don‘t fret too much about it all: you were in smegging Vegas on holiday; you‘re allowed to indulge!!!
And, I think you‘ll love Jersey Boys - my wife and mother in law went to see it when it was in Melbourne and loved it.
I think vacations should be a free pass, considering that you are at restaurants that you might not normally be able to go to. Not that it isn't important to develop healthy habits, but I don't think that what you did was so bad.
