Weekly What?

It's Saturday, which means it's time for another round of "Weekly What?" with Ricci and Allie! (P.S. Have you checked out Ricci's new blog design and name yet? Totally gorgeous!) I hope some of you have more interesting weekend planned than I do - on Saturday I'm spending all day helping to score a high school mock trial tournament and on Sunday I'm going to be spending all day writing my motion brief that's due on Tuesday and preparing for my first hearing (before a real judge!) ever on Thursday. Next week is going to be crazy busy!

But enough about next week...here's what you missed last week:

Lots of big changes in the world of our little Harry Potter linkup last week, as we announced that Ashley would be retiring from organizing the linkup, and that I would be taking over. It was also our last week of HP-inspired fashion, and in addition to showing you day and night outfits for each house, I showed off the t-shirt that Shaun got me for my birthday!

I shared my favorite Super Bowl ad with you all and told you a little bit more about why I found it so moving.

I also wrote a guest post for Ashley at Simply, Ashley about what it's like to to be a "mom" to a 10 month old corgi!

Wednesday: Four-Eyes

I shared a review of my brand-new glasses from Firmoo. I still can't decide whether or not wearing large black frames makes me a hipster, but I've gotten tons of compliments on them so I guess I'll take that as a "no." :)

Thursday Morning: Weekly Weigh In

I had another disappointing weigh in this week, but this time I'm determined not to lose my motivation and to get back on track. I also shared the goodies that I won from KTJ Weighing In during her first ever giveaway! It's also the first giveaway that I've ever won, so that was really exciting.

Thursday Afternoon: Mean.

I shared my frustrations with the dark side of the Internet and the story of a Green Bay Packers cheerleader who has been the subject of a lot of negative comments on a Facebook page recently.

Friday: At Least I Tried!

Last but not least, on Friday I blogged about my recent attempt to make spaghetti squash. I had heard really great things about it and if it worked out, I figured I could add it to my list of healthy dinner options. The pro: it is really easy to make! The con: I didn't love it as a substitute for pasta. I'm going to try it again, but as a side dish. I'll let you know how that goes!

And there you have it. Have a great weekend!

My sister swears by it ad a substitute for noodles in spaghetti. I didn't think it worked well either, I like the squash just not as a noodle!

I like squash and I think it was okay as a noodle substitute if I smothered it in marinara and dumped some veggie sausage on it!
Have you tried miracle noodles?
